My name is Francesca Fatucchi and I have been working in the radio guide rental industry for over two years. I have just opened a rental business in Florence featuring latest-generation radios: extremely lightweight and compact, with a range of up to 200 meters in open spaces, and equipped with advanced microchips for exceptional sound clarity. I guarantee prompt delivery, fast service, and on-tour technical assistance for any contingency.
Our radios feature sanitized, reusable external shell (conchiglia) earpieces. These on-ear headphones enhance sound transmission with greater clarity, are fully inclusive for individuals with hearing aids, and prevent environmental waste. We consciously chose to minimize the ecological footprint of single-use accessories, considering Florence's estimated 28,000 daily tourists and the resulting volume of waste.
However, we still provide both earpiece types (reusable conchiglia or single-use disposable) upon request.

How do delivery and collection work in Florence?
Delivery and collection are fully flexible throughout the historic center of Florence. We can bring the kit directly to the hotel where your tour group is staying, to Santa Maria Novella train station, or directly to the starting point of your tour (e.g. Piazza del Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, etc.). We will coordinate the exact time when you book.
What type of earpieces are provided with the receivers?
We supply ergonomic external conchiglia (shell-style) earpieces. They are professionally disinfected and sanitized after every single use and are fully reusable. This choice dramatically cuts down on plastic waste. If required for specific needs, we can still provide individually sealed, single-use disposable earpieces upon request.
How does the payment process work?
To accommodate travel agencies and freelance tour guides, payments are made exclusively via bank wire transfer upon receiving our invoice by email. No cash payments are required at the time of delivery.
How long does the device battery last?
The batteries in our transmitters and receivers last up to 32 hours of continuous usage. This allows you to use the devices for multiple consecutive days without needing to recharge them every night.
What happens if a device is damaged or lost?
Our devices are housed in robust casing designed to withstand accidental drops. In case of loss or severe damage caused by negligence, a fixed replacement penalty fee will apply per device, as detailed in the general rental conditions sent with your quote.
Can I modify or cancel my booking?
Yes, you can adjust the number of participants or change dates with no penalty up to 24 hours before the rental start. For last-minute modifications, we will do our best to accommodate your requests subject to device availability in our inventory.
